Hi everybody I'm trying to recover an HP Pavilion Laptop 15z-cw100 using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool from HP website. After booting up to the recovery USB, an error message pops up saying " Recovery not supported under current configuration, please enable acceleration option for Intel Smart Response Technology ". First of all, after checking how to enable this option, I'm told that I need to go to All Programs menu. The problem is that I can't even boot up Windows 10, so how can I do all that? Is there another way because I tried to see if I could do it through BIOS, unfortunately that option is not there.

Hi:
It sounds to me like HP has the wrong recovery image for your notebook.
Your notebook has an AMD processor and chipset, so there shouldn't be any reference to the Intel Smart Response Technology.
If your PC is not operational, my recommendation would be to use the Microsoft Media creation tool to create a bootable W10 installation flash drive.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed installing you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page:

Hey Paul, thanks for your response. I have one more question regarding this Win 10 installation bootable. On the download page it says that we need a license code, where do I get that from. I'm trying to install this Win 10 on a different computer that I'm typing to you with.

You're very welcome.
Since you are installing W10 on a PC that came with W10 from the manufacturer, they are required to encrypt the W10 product key in the PC's BIOS.
Therefore, it is unnecessary for you to have a product key and W10 will automatically find it and then activate after you are connected to the internet.
