Hi, I would like to ask some questions about HP Cloud Recovery Tool.

My Windows is installed in Drive C which is SSD and my whole data is in Drive D. Will restoring with that tool, wipe all data from both disks?

I don't have a way to backup my whole data somewhere else sadly.

Hi:

Yes, it will reformat the hard drive and remove all data from all partitions.

I suggest you invest in a portable hard drive to save your data to.

If the hard drive were to fail, you will lose the data anyway.

Thank you for informing me with that. I downloaded and installed HP Cloud Recovery Tool in my usb drive. I downloaded it and followed all steps perfectly. But after booting with USB drive, it boots and then a blue screen appears and after a bit, a dialog box appears stating "unable to find boot disc". Kindly help me with this.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with why the recovery tool cannot find the drive.
