I am working on a laptop for a client and need to acquire the HP Cloud Recovery Tool. The MS store is not an option here at my location. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Pete:

 

Nowadays, the only place you can get the HP cloud recovery tool is from the Microsoft Store.

 

It used to be provided as a standalone download from HP.

 

I did save that file, and it shows the date I saved it was on December 28, 2021.

 

I have zipped the file up and attached it below.

 

Hopefully, it will still work in 2025 but if not, you will have to get access to the Microsoft store and install the latest version.

 

Here is an info link for how to use the utility:

 

HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support

 

You have to run the tool as administrator for it to work and you will need to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window if you are using the utility on another Windows PC.

 

The notebook's product number is 2Q1H7UA#ABA
