Hi All,
I'm trying to test Intune deployment on a laptop here to make sure our planned process for new W11 devices works. However, the HP Cloud Recovery USB drive doesn't install any drivers as part of the W11 installation process. They have to be installed after the OOBE process is run.
The issue is that our process is supposed to join our new devices to the Wi-Fi before we run through OOBE so that we can pre-provision them before they're handed to the staff. It can't do that as there's no network drivers installed. It can't connect to ethernet for the same reason.
All the laptops we have here were reimaged with W10 and have no W11 recovery partition.
Does anyone have any clever suggestions?
Thanks,
Tim

Hello,
Generally speaking, the USB HP Cloud Recovery image you want to use is not designed for Intune/SCCM/MS Autopilot the way it is now. You might need to customize your OS image and bundle the wi-fi driver in it.
Please, log a ticket via the HP Customer Care Center (Customer Support) via phone or web/chat. Here is how to contact them >> https://support.hp.com/gb-en/contact
They should be able to handle your request and route it to a specialist in Intune/SCCM.
