This driver update is showing up the Windows Update History. What hardware does this driver update? Since receiving this update, my laptop has started restarting multiple times a day. Error message after a reboot via WinDbg Preview:

Hi:

 

It is an update to the Hotkey support driver.

 

There is a newer version on your notebook's support page which you may want to install and see if that fixes the problem.

Update: the shared driver update did not fix the issue, but it does appear to be resolved after updating the HP USB-C to Multi-port Hub drivers (https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-usb-c-to-multi-port-hub/15241795)
