HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew0000 (549V8AV)

Using HP Support Assistant (HPSA), I tried to update BIOS to Version F.11, which HPSA said was available.  However, I forgot to disable Norton 360 Antivirus and Smart Firewall before running the update.  The update failed, according to HPSA.  I then tried to run it again (by downloading it again), and it failed again.  During the restarts, the update showed, "The System BIOS update failed. Unable to open BIOS Signature file" and included a box to "Continue Startup," which I clicked.  The computer restarted and seemed "normal," but when I checked System Information, the BIOS version still read Insyde F.10, 9/16/2022.  Also, HPSA History showed the BIOS update failed.

(Note:  When trying to run the update a third time, I took an extra step of deleting the previously downloaded sp143364 file (the whole C:\SWSetup\SP143364 folder), then downloading sp143364 again.  That seemed a logical thing to do, since the "installer" was telling me it was "Unable to open BIOS Signature file."  That was also after I had disabled Norton's Antivirus and Smart Firewall features.)

All that said, now I'm at a loss as to how to proceed.  The C:\SWSetup\SP143364 folder and file are still on my computer, but I don't want to try doing anything else without some help/advice.  Thank you.

UPDATED 2219, 12042022.  I just tried updating BIOS from the HP Download site, using their provided Installation tool--same result, "Unable to open BIOS Signature file."  I can not understand why BIOS Version F.11 will not update; I have not had BIOS update problems in the past (I think this is my second BIOS update since buying the computer on 22 July 2022), and HPSA indicated that Version F.11 was available for my laptop.  Very mysterious...need help, thanks again.  (PS  And now I have TWO--2--downloads of SP143364, one in C:\SWSetup\SP143364, and the other in my Downloads folder.)

UPDATED 1350, 12062022.  I deleted folder C:\SWSetup\SP143364, then tried running SP143364 from my Downloads folder.  Doing that recreated the C:\SWSetup\SP143364 folder and ran the BIOS update, but the result was the same--"Unable to open BIOS Signature file."  This is hopeless!  The HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads shows F.11 is available for my computer (https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-x360-15.6-inch-2-in-1-laptop-pc-15-ew0000/2... I downloaded the file and ran it.  And yet, when it runs, it still shows "Unable to open BIOS Signature file."  What is the problem here??
