HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp111dx does this laptop have a cmos battery, If this laptop is off for extended time get this message,

"The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will be resent to the default configuration and will be rebooted. Please check your BIOS Setup options to see if they change.

CMOS Reset (502)

Enter – Reboot the system

When it restarts the clock needs reset.

It does NOT have RTC (or CMOS) battery. Do you keep power for its main battery

if I power down for the night some times I get the CMOS reset when power up, or if i unplug for a long period time I get the CMOS reset?

Normally when the battery is totally empty after a number of hours (can be overnight).
