Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Elite Book 840 G3

Bios updated to N75 01.53

TPM updated from 1.2 to 2.0

The only specification my laptop is not meeting in the WIN11 compatibility checker is the CPU:

Core I7-6500U @2.5GHz

I realise MS have set support from 7th generation intel and above though I have seen a youtube video showing WIN11 running on this model.  I am just wondering if anybody has had success stories of upgrading from WIN10 to WIN 11 on this hardware and HP laptop model?

You can use

Installing Windows 11 on devices that don't meet minimum system requirements

I've got few machines but don't bother to upgrade to Windows 11 because I need W10 machines for supporting anyway

Regards.
