Hello HP Community team,
I recently bought a used HP EliteBook 840 G2 laptop, but unfortunately, I discovered that the BIOS is locked with an administrator password set by the previous owner. This prevents me from configuring the system and managing boot options.
Could you please guide me on the official procedure or provide the necessary support to clear or reset this pre-owned BIOS password?
Thank you for your help

Unfortunately, for problem with passwords you will need to contact an HP agent.
