Bought this brand new laptop 6 months ago hoping to get a reliable machine. To put it mildly, it has been a disaster. Never knew that one can have so many problems with a new laptop.
Some simple stuff that is really annoying:
during meetings inTeams, the microphone randomly is not working and some word or whole sentences are cut out. I did all the driver updates and ran all the HP diagnostics tools - nothing. It seems that the polystudio just can't properly work with the built-in microphone. Only when I use bluetooth headphones and mic, it is not happening.
2-3 times in a week the machine randomly freezes so that you can only hard restart by holding down the power button. it does not show a blue screen or any error, it just freezes everything and nothing responds anymore. I have noticed, that if I use built-in speakers (to listen any type of audio), it increases random freezing possibilities significantly.
if you use sleep mode at the end of the work day, it often is not fully functional the next day. For example, it can't recognize or find a microphone at all or sometimes bluetooth is gone. So you have to restart your laptop everyday in order to have a somewhat functioning laptop.
