Elitebook 2560p
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there!

I installed Windows 10 21H1 on my HP Elitebook 2560p, and i have some driver issues and more.

One of the issues is that no WIFI is detected and the driver+wifi card is installed

The 2nd issue is Base System Device that has no driver available and i have no idea how to solve it
And the 3rd issue is "Unknown device on PCI Express Root Complex" that i have no idea how to solve it either.
Anyone can help?
This laptop is also my daily Windows based device that i own...

Hi:

What model wifi adapter does your notebook come with?

You need this driver for the base system device...

The JMicron Media Card Reader Driver enables the integrated media card slot in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

You probably need this driver for the unknown device...

This package provides the HP 3D DriveGuard software for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard protects the hard drive by "parking the heads" if the notebook is accidentally dropped or is abruptly impacted by another object.

Hi there! Thanks for the reply!

I solved the WiFi and both Hp DriveGuard 3D and the jMicron SD card reader, turns out the WiFi card needed a disable, re-enable and some cmd commands. Also the WiFi/Internet card I use is the default one that came with this laptop (Basically Intel R Advanced-N 6205)

You're very welcome.

Glad you got the Wifi card to work because the only Wifi driver there is gets automatically installed by W10.
