Hello All,
I have 2 HP Elitebook 8440p and two HP Probook 6550b. One of the 8440ps had win xp and the other has win 10. I couldnt use the Win XP one as the keyboard didnt work and I had to press ctrl+alt+delete to login. The WIN 10 one worked just fine...With an Overheating issue. Some months later, I found out that the BIOS of the system was an old version; F12 Rev. So i found out Update F60 Rev. and installed it..once i rebooted it began updating the bios. But, disaster struck..The computer Shut down by itself due to overheating. Yeah, it didnt power on since then, and on the quickbuttons an led keeps blinking. a kind of a caps lock ig. Please help I later installed win 10 on the win xp one via USB. So im using that now. I didnt know but now it seems both the probooks bios is corrupted as well, I took it from my uncle, who gifted them to me..How to recover the HP Elitebook 8440ps BIOS(BTW the keyboard of the HP Elitebook 8440p doesnt work, i do have an external HP Wireless keyboard and mouse. Please help, it would be a big help...
