After a few months use my sister gave me the laptop to use with a CNC machine. I would like to be listed as administrator and replace her personal information with my own. I tried some of the fixes I found on the internet and none worked. I would appreciate an input leading to a solution of the problem.

Hi:
Neither the model number or the product number of your PC are correct.
What I suggest you do is to use the HP cloud recovery client utility to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is a link to the file download:
Cloud Recovery Client
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp142501-143000/sp142993.exe
Here is a link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
Read the instructions carefully because you have to check a box to automatically install the drivers (see under Installing HP drivers and software after recovery)

You're very welcome.
If you have an Elitebook 8xx G3, it does not meet Microsoft's W11 hardware requirements.
The cloud recovery client would only restore W10.
If the notebook is truly a G3 edition and it is running W11, then someone used a hack to bypass the W11 hardware requirements.
I can also give you the info to do that, but you would have to clean install W11 and not use the cloud recovery client.
The best thing to do is to provide the correct model info for me to determine what operating systems are supported.

Something is screwy. My sister bought this HP laptop f and it was shipped to her direct from China. As soon as I can get someone to scan the paper that came with the laptop I will forward to you. I assume I can attach a file.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to attach any files at your forum level.
If you have the PC, you can find the model number and/or product number in the BIOS' system information section.
To get into the BIOS, turn on or restart the PC.
Immediately press/tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.
Select the F10 Setup option and press the Enter key.
