Hi @fardeen4,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing blue screen errors on your HP Envy 15 Notebook laptop. Updating the BIOS can be a potential solution to such issues. To find the right version of the BIOS for your laptop, you can follow these steps.
- Visit the official HP support website (https://support.hp.com/).
- Click on the "Software & Drivers" section.
- Enter your laptop model "HP Envy 15 Notebook" in the search box and click on the search icon.
- Select your specific laptop model from the list of results.
- Look for the BIOS section or category.
- Check if there is a newer version of the BIOS available for download.
- Make sure to read the release notes or any instructions provided for the BIOS update to ensure compatibility and understand the update process.
- Download the BIOS update file that matches your laptop model and operating system.
- Once the download is complete, follow the instructions provided by HP to update the BIOS. It usually involves running an executable file from within your operating system or creating a bootable USB drive.
Note: It's essential to follow the instructions provided by HP carefully while updating the BIOS, as an incorrect update process can potentially cause further issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
