HP Envy Bang & Olufsen Laptop

So my laptop won't boot up correctly. What happens is when I turn it on, it will start up from anywhere between 5 seconds to about a minute and then will make a clicking noise and instantly shut off. When this happens, the light beside the charging port (orange if that helps) will come off. If I take the charging cord from out of the port and plug it back in, the light will come back on and will take about 5 minutes before it allows me to turn it back on. If I take the battery out while the cord is in, the light is white, but the laptop won't come on at all. I've tried turning it on and manually turning it off consecutively before trying again and this doesn't help. And I can't try F11 or F2 options that I've seen suggested before because it won't stay on long enough to do anything. Help?
