Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, my laptop battery has worsened (lasts 1.5 hours without charger) over the 3 years that I've owned this laptop and I'm interested in buying a replacement. However, the only replacement battery that I found on the HP store was for the "RTC battery", which doesn't sound right. Does anyone know where I can find a battery replacement besides the HP store?

@leslie0124, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

To provide you with the right part number for the battery, What is the exact model/product number of the Notebook you are using?

To know how to find the Product number, refer to this document.

Note: Do not post the serial number on a public post.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

@leslie0124

Thank you for the response.

HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq003dx uses a 4-cell, 55-Wh, 3.62-Ah, Li-ion battery (includes cable) and the HP Spare part number is 844204-855.

Use the HP Partsurfer to identify the part: Click here & order it via the HP Parts store (Click here).

To know how to replace the battery, refer to page 27 of the service guide

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
