Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz 1.50 GHz
8GB RAM, 64-bit OS, Windows 10 Home
Purchased late January 2021
The first time this happened was 15th November, then repeated tonight 23rd November.
Laptop would not reboot, the only error indication was Caps Lock light blinking - I think it blinked 5 times slowly then 4 times quickly. I called Currys/PC world helpdesk and they took me through the following;
- press F10 repeatedly to get into BIOS
- F9 to reset, save and exit
Both times this has now worked and I have managed to get back onto my laptop.
Question - will this problem continue/ what should be my longer term solution?
I have not upgraded to Windows 11 as yet ... could this resolve the problem?
Appreciate any help or guidance, my next step is to call HP technical support when open in the morning.
