Is there a way I can obtain the system image recovery to restore for this computer? I believe it is Windows 10, I have run a full diagnostic at the computer startup and no issues are being reported. I attempted to the Startup Repair and it stated "Startup Repair couldn't repair your PC'. When I select System Restore it says "To use System Restore, you must specify which windows installation to restore (Which I'm never given an option to do?) I am unable to log into windows, it just keeps booting into the troubleshooting menu when you first start the computer. I'd be fine with wiping it completely and going back to factory reset if able? It seems my windows installation is corrupted. Thank you for your time!
Kind Regards,
Paul

Hi, Paul:
I did a search in the HP Partsurfer website for your notebook and only found these two product numbers.
Neither one of the above part numbers are supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, so if your notebook has a different product number than those two, please let me know so I can check the database to see if HP has a recovery image for it.
You can always reinstall/repair W10 by making a W10 USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below. You will need another PC running W10/W11 64 bit and an 8 GB USB flash drive.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
When you boot from the installation media and get to the 'Install Now' screen on the bottom left side of that screen, there is an option to repair your computer.
You can try the various repair options available.
If you can't repair the installation, you can use the tool to reinstall Windows.
If you need to recover files, when you get to the step that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows,' install it over the existing Windows partition and it will create a Windows.old folder.
After W10 has completed installing, you can explore the Windows.old folder, find your old user profile and copy and paste the folders from the old user profile to the new one.
