HP Envy X360 Windows 10 Audio Speaker/Issue

Hi i have 4 x HP Envy X360 15 (that came pre-installed with Windows 11, i would like to downgrade these laptops  to Windows 10.

I have installed the Windows 10 OS but am getting no sound only through using headphones.

Does anyone know the answer to this?

I would like to find a driver to fix this issue can anyone help please?

Everything else seems to be ok the sound does seem to be the only problem

I would need to know the model number/product number of the notebook to see if it is possible.

If there is an older model in the same model series that has W10 drivers, it may be possible.

               thanks for the response, the model says it is

HP Envy 2-in-1 laptop 15 ey5020sa

Prod ID is 6L7L3EA#ABU

that is all i can see on the back of the laptop any help is greatly appreciated

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, even the older base model 15-ey0xxx model series only has W11 drivers.

I looked up a slightly older HP AMD platform that has W10 drivers.

Perhaps this W10 driver will also work on your notebook:

Hi, I have resolved the sound issue, I installed Windows 10 over the top of the existing Windows 11 (not pretty but it works) and everything seems to be working , well almost everything, I am still trying to find the function key software as those keys do not do what they are supposed to do.

Do you have any pointers please?

This is now fixed i made a schoolboy error on the function keys all my issues are resolved
