Hey sir/ma'am,
So, I got a HP Envy laptop on July 2024. The specs are: 64 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, NVIDIA RTX 3050, 17.3'', Touchscreen. The first time I experienced the BSOD issue with my laptop was around November 2024. So, I had my Windows OS reinstalled by my university's tech dept. However, I kept facing the same issue occasionally from then. But now, It looks like the device is having some serious issues because, something's not letting it run the automatic repair process, or passing through tests, or troubleshooting. Here are the troubleshooting techniques I tried:
1. Restarted a couple times.
2. Startup Repair
3. Startup Settings
4. Uninstalling Updates
5. Went into Safe mode and tried removing a few files or updating drivers.
6. Checked for missing windows updates.
7. Thought a few recent updates might be causing this and tried wmic and wusa commands on BSOD command prompt. But they kept reinstalling when restarted.
Finally, I checked the device manager and saw multiple warning signs on several components.
Could someone please help me out with the same?
Thank you!

Hi @Surya_Mazundar,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on your PC—it can be frustrating when your system unexpectedly crashes like that. But don’t worry, we’ll work through this together!
To resolve this issue, I recommend installing the HP Support Assistant on your PC. This tool will automatically detect missing or outdated drivers and install the necessary HP drivers for you. It’s a quick and effective way to ensure your system is running smoothly.
Alternatively, you can visit the HP website and select “Detect my Software and Drivers”—this will scan your PC and install the correct drivers manually.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
