I am booting with Windows 11 on a flash drive, but I discovered it will not recognize my drives. This website (Intel website) will not give me an RST download and keeps saying to "come back later." Can someone give me that file?

I am planning to install the RST, install Windows 11, and hopefully be able to use my laptop again. It was working perfectly this afternoon. Next time I tried to turn it on, it never booted up.

What is your exact model number or product number (ProdID). The info is printed on the bottom cover of the notebook.

When I try to look up my product on this website it keeps saying "unavailable" so I'm kind of at a roadblock

15m-es1000 series come with an Intel Core 11th gen processor, so you need to supply IRST drivers to the Windows installer, but I suggest you run a hard drive test first, since your notebook "never booted up."

Turn on the notebook and immediately hit the F2 key repeatedly and run SMART check and long DST test.

If the hard drive comes out clean, follow the instructions below for the IRST driver installation.

1. Use a Windows installation usb drive created with Microsoft Media Creation Tool (an ISO file-based installation usb drives may cause errors during the IRST driver installation).

2. Download Intel RST driver from the link below. Run it as administrator and follow the on-screen instructions to perform the driver extraction.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp146501-147000/sp146929.exe

3. Go to C:\SWSetup\sp146929. Double click the sp146929 folder and copy the F6 folder to the root directory of a Windows installation usb drive. The F6 folder contains IRST drivers which the installation setup needs in order to detect the storage drive.

4. Connect the usb drive to the notebook and boot the system from the usb drive. When asked where to install Windows, click on Load Driver -> Browse -> the usb drive in the window that opens -> the F6 folder -> OK.

5. Multiple .inf driver files may be displayed. Select one and click Next. If no driver files are displayed, uncheck the box on the bottom left corner of the screen to display drivers. Find and select an 'iaStorVD.inf ' file and click Next to load the driver.

6. The storage drive may be displayed with multiple partitions. Delete each of all the partitions, and when you just see unallocated space, click Next to proceed the installation.

If you still can't install Windows, you can try HP Cloud Recovery Tool which will restore the SSD to a factory state. Let us know how the installation goes.
