HP Envy x360 --  How do I get NUM LOCK to be ON when starting up?

Greetings and Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Don't worry, I'm here to help! 

 

Let's try these steps -

 

1) Run Registry Editor. (Windows Key + R, regedit, OK)

 

2) Browse to (and click on) HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard

 

3) Change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.

 

Note - Before trying the above mentioned steps please Backup the Registry or you may Create a Restore Point.
