HP G71-343US Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I want to know how to DOWNLOAD the recovery manager for HP G71-343US Windows 7 x64 bit model. I put a new hard disk, because the old one stopped working. In that process, recovery manager got wiped out. I need help with DOWNLOADING recovery manager for this specific model without any buying recovery disc method.

(Yes it is very old I get that and it is my testing machine not my primary one so don't go on a rant about upgrading and buying new pc)

Hi:

What you want doesn't exist.

If you can still read all 25 characters of the W7 Home Premium product key on your notebook's case, I can give you the link to the W7 Home Premium 64 bit ISO file and you can use that to clean install W7 on your notebook's new hard drive and activate it with the product key.

There are some built in apps from the HP at the time that I still like. I obviously cannot get them back with the retail Windows 7 installation. I am looking specifically for the OEM recovery media for download.

HP never offered W7 recovery media for download for that model series, so that is not going to happen for you.

They only sold recovery media and they quit selling recovery media for that model series years ago.

I don't see any place where you can even buy recovery media.

This place usually does but when I enter that model number, I get nothing.

Since you decline (or can't) to go with a plain W7 installation, there won't be anyone here that can help you.
