Hi,

The HP Hardware Diagnostics will not open (run as administrator) for me to run a battery test. I have already repaired, restarted, and even reinstalled the Diagnostics application so that step has already been attempted with no success. What I get is the opening image but then it goes away and the program never opens.

 

I am trying to troubleshoot why my battery shuts off without warning (have already adjusted the battery settings) and running out of options.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the battery and the hardware diagnostics is not working on your computer.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

What is the exact model for your computer?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the battery issue is resolved.

For hardware diagnostics, I recommend you download and install it from the below link and check.
