HP Laptop 14-dq1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All,

I clean reinstalled HP Laptop 14-dq1xxx laptop (core i3-1005G1, 4GB RAM, 128 SSD) with Windows 10 Home 64 Bit version 1909 and this Windows 10 Home was activated without issue. Its original OS was Windows 10 mode S. The touch pad does not work even I installed touch pad driver download from HP support website. Currently I have to use a wireless mouse as touch pad.

Please help how to fix this.

Thanks

O.C

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchpad is not working after reinstalling Windows.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you run a test on the touchpad to make sure whether it is software or a hardware issue.

Refer to the below article to run the test.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
