hi, my laptop has been bugging out recently. today i keep getting lots of blue screens. mostly Memory Management. i would try to update drivers and windows 11 but i cant even go past putting my password in. what should i do?

Hi:

 

Your notebook probably has a faulty memory chip that needs to be replaced.

 

If you can get into Windows, run the windows memory diagnostic program, and if there is a bad memory chip, it will report that within 15 seconds of running the test.

 

If you can't get into Windows, try the memory test using the F2 hardware diagnostics test.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the memory removal and replacement procedure.

Since you will most likely need to replace the memory chip, you may as well install an 8 GB memory chip to increase performance a little.
