I'm going to be honest - My HP laptop is most likely not coming back.
I've tried everything from hard resetting to taking it apart and it won't get past the loading screen, it just spins for hours and does nothing. All the tests HP can offer come back fine, I can"t recover the boot sequence, I've even changed the boot sequence to legacy, and it doesn't even HAVE internal hard drive on the UEFI boot version. I have no idea what to do because at this point its been 4 whole days and nothing has worked. It's been a few days since i tried to update to Windows 11, but it didn't do anything and when I started it again after the update I was still on Windows 10. I used to get frequent blue screens and "Boot device not found" errors, and updates wouldn't really 'update' but rather get stuck on the update screen until I forcibly shut it down, not adding any updates at all. These weren't really a big deal and were usually fixed pretty easily, I'm just at a huge loss because there's nothing I can do because I have done literally everything. Help appreciated.

Hi@Community,
Thanks for engaging in the HP support community this is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance, and find tips!
I see from the post that you are having issues with your HP Notebook is powering on, but, doesn't boot into Windows, Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve your issue.
To provide an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Could you provide me with the exact model number of the notebook? ( Please use this link to help you find this information: http://hp.care/2bygf7l )
Have you performed any steps on your own before posting on the HP community?
Have you tried to boot into the Bios with the Hard drive disconnected?
Have you tried to connect an external keyboard and check if that works?
In the meantime, you perform the below steps:
Let's start off by performing a hard reset on the notebook: A power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, the keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.
Please restart the computer, tap on F10 during the restart and when you get to the BIOS interface, stay there and wait for the amount of time it normally takes to turn off, etc...and reply back with the details of what happened during your time in the BIOS interface. If the screen flickers in the Bios screen as this is outside of windows, this clearly is an indication of a hardware failure.
If the PC stays fine on the Bios, I would suggest you perform a Bios defaults.
Performing Bios Defaults:
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Alternatively, I would suggest here is to remove the hard drive and then try to check if you are able to boot into the Bios. If yes, then it's a possible hardware failure with the hard drive.

Please respond to this post with the results of the troubleshooting for further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

The product number is: 7FU54UA#ABA
Yes, I have disassembled the laptop, taken out the battery, I could not find the hard drive. I hard reset, I did advanced tests and quick tests, I tried everything on the F11 start menu multiple times, I changed to legacy boot, I changed the boot order (which may I mention the UEFI boot doesn't even include internal hard drive in boot order) I have tried to click F5 at the beginning and it only gave a black screen, I tried removing static discharge by holding the power button for a minute, and numerous other things I don't remember.
I have not tried to boot the BIOS without disconnecting the hard drive, I could not find the hard drive and do not know how to disconnect it.
I have not tried an external keyboard, how would that help exactly?

You have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to check to get to know its hardware is faulty, not a software issue.
I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.

The last time I paid for HP support to help they ended up telling us to buy something that we could've not spent 100 odd dollars for a professional to tell us to buy something we could've bought on our own, so I would like to resort to that later.

Hi@brlnt12,
As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now,
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!

@brlnt12,
You have done the fundamental investigating according to the archive and the journal needs to check to get to realize its equipment is flawed, not a product issue.
I'd propose you contact HP in your region regarding the assistance choices for your PC or HP Chat Support Team.
