Hi,
When attempting to do a fresh install of Windows 11, on this HP Laptop 17-CN0023DX, the SSD is not recognized (Doesn't show up in the Windows 11 install menu as an available drive).
I went into the HP boot menu (F2 or something on boot), and the SSD is recognized, and is listed there as the HP SSD EX900 Plus M.2 1TB.
I went to Official HP Laptop drivers section (https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops) on this site, and attempted to find the drivers (Put HP EX900 M.2 into the component search bar), and only the 120GB, 250GB, and 500GB options appear for that model, and also, no drivers are listed under those components on the website.
"We were unable to find drivers for your product." is listed under each of the lower tier storage devices listed.
When you choose "Change preferred operating system", and then choose "I don't see my operating system", you read the following "If you do not see the version of your operating system (OS) listed on the software download site for your HP product, HP does not have any downloadable software or drivers for your product for that operating system."
Am I able to use this SSD with Windows 11(or the rest of the components in the laptop even), or do I need to buy a compatible SSD that has Drivers for Windows 11 (or a laptop that is compatible with windows 11 even)?
Any help is appreciated!
Edit1: I'm using a USB boot drive with windows 11.
Also, I just created a USB boot drive with windows 10, the SSD is still not recognized.
If someone could help me find the driver for this SSD that'd be great. Thanks
