@7838314090, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

Let's work through the issue you're facing with your HP laptop showing a BitLocker recovery message, followed by a blank screen and blinking power light.

Steps to Resolve:

Perform a Hard Reset

This helps clear temporary hardware states and may restore display functionality.

Steps:

  1. Power off the laptop completely.
  2. Disconnect the power adapter and remove any connected peripherals (USB drives, external monitors, etc.).
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power adapter (without peripherals) and try powering it on.

Check for Display Output

If the screen remains blank, try connecting to an external monitor or TV using HDMI or USB-C (if supported). This helps determine if the issue is with the internal display.

  • If external display works, the internal screen may be faulty or disabled.
  • If both displays are blank, proceed to the next step.

Use HP BIOS Recovery

If the blinking power light indicates a BIOS issue, you can attempt a BIOS recovery.

Steps:

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Press and hold Windows key + B, then press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds.
  3. Release the power button but continue holding Windows + B for 10 seconds.
  4. Wait to see if the BIOS recovery screen appears.

BitLocker Recovery via External Boot

If the screen remains blank and BIOS recovery fails, you may need to:

  • Boot from a Windows recovery USB.
  • Enter the BitLocker recovery key when prompted.
  • Repair or reinstall Windows if needed.

You can create a recovery USB using another PC: Download Windows 11

I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
