So this was a month ago. I was doing basic things on my laptop like school work, then my windows told me to update software. I was finished with my work by then, then when I went to submit it, the computer restarted by its own and started updating the BIOS. I did not know I was doing a BIOS update so I quickly plugged my charger. The update failed, then made my computer unusable. This was a week after the warranty expired so I think HP is doing some stuff I am not aware of. The caps lock key was blinking 7 times, then stopped.
I managed to start it up, but it said something about an "endpoint security controller" error, then it shut down. I reseated the ram, since my warranty is expired, that got it to boot up then I forced it into bios settings to go to the update bios from USB.
Did not work, I used instructions, heck even the tool. I tried, then it shut down. Now refusing to start up with the 7 blinking caps lock key.
If someone could help me I would appreciate it, I do not want this laptop to go to waste!
Thanks
