HP Laptop Buzzing/Vibrating. Help please!

For the last week my laptop has been making this horrible loud buzzing/whirring sound (like vibrating, not like an audio issue like something inside is doing it).  The sound reminds me of when you put a cd into a cd rom and it does that like whirring noise as it loads your cd(but that’s not what I’m doing that’s just what it sounds like to me). It’s fine on boot up for like 2 minutes and then it starts making this noise where it’ll buzz consistently but get louder intermittently. I’m on windows 11. I’ve tried rebooting and letting it cool down but it hasn’t worked. The laptop is 3 years old this month so it’s outside of warranty. Any advice please?? Next step is taking it to someone to fix but that’ll cost $$ so if anyone here can help I’d be most appreciative. Thank you!!

Mine did the same thing after it downloaded Windows 11 while I was sleeping. As soon as I heard the weird noises, I knew it was gonna crash and it did. I’ve been having a hell of a time trying to get it back. I’m going to reinstall Windows 10 from my friends desk, but I have to get my product key. Just make sure you’ve got your back up up-to-date because it sounds like it’s gonna crash.
