I recently noticed that the cooling fan on my HP Pavilion 15 has been running almost constantly, even when only basic applications such as a web browser or office software are open. The laptop is performing normally, but the fan noise is much more noticeable than before.

I have checked for Windows updates, installed the latest HP support updates, and scanned for background processes that may be causing high CPU usage. Temperatures appear normal, yet the fan continues to run more frequently than expected.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue on an HP notebook? Are there any recommended settings, diagnostics, or power management adjustments that could help reduce fan activity while maintaining performance?
