Product: HP Mini 1000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

My son purchased an HP Mini 1000 at a garage sale for my grandson to do homework. The OS is Windows XP Home edition ULCPC. When he turns on the computer it is asking for a password. The user ID says hp. In the BIOS Setup Utility, under Security, it shows:  Administrator Password  :Uninstalled and Power-On Password  :Uninstalled. Under Diagnostics Primary Hard Disk Selt Test is grayed out and says Not Support.  What can I do?
