My HP Mini 110 Notebook will turn on but will not complete the booting process. It is stuck on "F9 boot up options" I have clicked F9 and worked through all the help suggestions on HP website only to find it's no longer supported. My question is if a notebook OS is no longer supported, what are my options at that point? throw the device away? ship it off to a repair shop? Order the old operating system software if it can be found anywhere? Thanks for any input!!

Hello @Soxtrailblazer
The model you use is very nice. It is not supported officially as it is very old model with old parts but that's why there are other channels where you can get support. One of them is this HP Community where other end users, experts, enthusiast or even some employees can volunteer to help you or advise you the way to fix the problem or at least diagnose it. Welcome ! 🙂
Let's first understand what the problem can be.
Every HP computer built-in diagnostics module in the BIOS. Use the Esc/F2 option to run it and perform few tests. Here are some instructions to be used as a reference only >> https://www.supportvideos.ext.hp.com/detail/video/4330525144001/running-hardware-diagnostic-tests-us...
Perform Run-in test or memory/hard disk drive tests.
Let me know the results, provide as many details as possible.
