HP Recommended
Product: HP Mini 1101 (ENERGY STAR)

HP Mini 1101, AMI BIOS Bios 308F0F18 EC v: 02.10

Symptom: Bios C-Mos checksum bad(short appearance) & stack in F9 /F10 primary screen.

From HP website: sp43858 (0.98 MB), sp47135 (1.10 MB) bios upgrade only from Windows

Tried & not work:

1. reset C-Mos

2. Win & B key procedure

3. Create a USB recovery drive procedure because bios files do not contain “Creating BIOS recovery flash drive for HP Notebook” software

4. Could not extract raw BIOS from  sp43858 or sp47135 to program the memory chip using a programmer.

What can I do more to fix the problem.
