please can you help me as the hard drive has failed (after many years) in my HP Mini. Please could you help me find a recovery software download including windows 7 starter for this device as this is used by our children for simple activities and its great for them. Do hope you can provide a download that could go on a usb stick etc to get the new hard drive working for the laptop.
Many thanks.

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
Since this is an older Model getting the Recovery Media might be tough
But you can check and see if the OS is downloadable in the HP Recovery Cloud Tool
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file inorder to install Windows operating system. Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06162205 to Use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10, 7)
Else you can check with HP Support if the Recovery Media is still available
Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ and select your Country to get the Contact details for HP Support
If none of these work you might have to reinstall a retail Copy of Windows OS
Thank you
