I let my daughter use it, she had a problem with it an my son in-law tried to fix it and failed. Since he wiped the system, I tried to reinstall Windows 10 64 bit build 1904, but no matter what it fails to boot. I then tried the 32 bit Windows 10 build 1904 and it installs and loads fine, but no drivers are available for it. I tried HP assist tool but it tells me that it is incompatible with the operating system. Would really appreciate some assistance.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Below is the link to the Cloud recovery tool information. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
Since you will have to make the recovery media using another PC (as the tool will not work on a 32-bit OS), you will have to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed.
Your notebook's product number is 7GZ76UA#ABA

I posted here earlier today as to my hp laptop 7GZ76UA#ABA not accepting a 64 bit windows installation, it was a word document i made showing my various steps i have taken and as to what is showing on the screen to give everyone a better understanding as to what is happening, but it appears either an automated bot or moderator that over see's this community opted to delete it, and then yet not offer help.. I have since done more testing, re-formatted a usb and mounted Unbutu on it, I then installed it on the HP laptop to verify the uefi and that it is a 64 bit system, Works like a charm all drivers etc work no problems, that is if you want to run a Linux distro which I personally do not, I would appreciate to be able to run windows 10 64 bit and if that is not Possible, I will then sell this to recyclers and by a Mac.

Paul_Tikkanen today was another day, nothing seems to work on installing a 64 bit version of windows 10 back on this laptop, as I stated earlier, it will accept a 32 bit version of windows 10.. For testing yesterday I went a little different than most would. I did a fresh clean install of Unbuntu on the laptop, checked the system bit and it verified it is a 64 bit system as it installed Unbutu in 64 bit without any problem and no driver issues. So after success there with Unbuntu I decided to try win 10 64 again, Again fails to even get to the setup screen... I then said heck with it i need to check the drive closer, I installed 32 bit version windows 10 back on it. Bingo, I can see the problem, The problem is when you go to do a fresh clean install you need to clean the NVME prior or it is filling up and maintaining your old files, the files i was using when trying to find the problem using the 32 bit version, which should have been erased even when I installed Unbuntu, they were still there.. So now my question for you and HP is how can I properly get this erased and functioning

I tried the recovery tool using a computer with windows 10 64 bit,
I also tried the recovery tool using a computer with Windows 11 pro dev 64 bit.
I tried various ways with changing the boot setup. I have managed an internet cafe for the last 12 years and have never had this problem on performing a fresh install of operating systems.
At times it will pop up a BSOD error code Unhandled exception and other times stop code PNP Driver watchdog. But what is really strange is that it appears that when I do get it to go thru to the setup page where you can format the drive, and you format it, it should erase everything on that drive, but it doesn't. I say this because when everything seemed to fail an made me question if it was actually 64 bit, I installed Unbuntu to verify it was 64 bit. Then I went back thru the process trying to get the operating system on it that I made using the cloud recovery tool it continued failing, so I then tried with 32 bit and it went right thru, but files that I had on it when I tried 32 bit previously was still there and not erased.. I tried to send you a document file showing the screen caps I took thru the various processes I tried but HP correspondence here didn't allow me to send it. if you have an e-mail I can send that to you to give you a better idea as to what is happening. I really do appreciate your time and efforts of trying to assist me, Thank You
