Hi @Maakri, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To restore your HP Omen 15-ce0xx to its original factory version of Windows, follow these methods:
Method 1: HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Recommended)
HP provides a Cloud Recovery Tool that allows you to download the original OS and drivers.
Steps:
- On another Windows PC, download the HP Cloud Recovery Tool from the Microsoft Store.
- Insert a 16GB or larger USB drive (Preferably 32GB) into the PC.
- Open the HP Cloud Recovery Tool and enter your laptop’s serial number (found on the bottom of the laptop or in BIOS).
- Follow the instructions to create a recovery USB drive.
- Insert the USB into your Omen 15-ce0xx and boot from it:
- Power off the laptop.
- Press Esc repeatedly when turning it on.
- Select F9 (Boot Options) and choose the USB drive.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to restore factory settings.
Method 2: HP Recovery Partition (If Available)
If you haven't deleted the HP Recovery Partition, you can try restoring the original OS from there.
Steps:
- Power off your laptop.
- Turn it on and press F11 repeatedly to enter HP Recovery Manager.
- Select "System Recovery" and follow the instructions to restore the original OS.
>Run the HP Cloud Recovery Tool | HP® Support
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

I downloaded the recovery tool from the MS Store. When I click open, the system tells me you need administrator privelidges. Something the internet says you can't do with MS store apps. Running it from the file location when right clicking to run as administrator, it just 'checks' the store and then you're presented with the same 'open' button again and you get the same message and round and round you go.
