Hello,
I have an OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx and had to reinstall Windows 10 home (version 10.0.19043 build 19043) some time ago.
After the installation, 5 devices appear in the device manager with an exclamation mark, where Windows cannot find any drivers.
-2 PCI devices
-3 unknown devices
I have a original notebook. Unfortunately, the "HP Support Assistant" app cannot find any drivers either.
In addition, the website https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-15-dc0000-laptop-pc-series/20329817/model/22665633?sku=4BX63EA does not find any suitable Driver.
At the moment I noted, that for example the SD card reader is not working.
How can I install for my operating system the drivers I need?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards.

You're very welcome.
See if you can manually install the Realtek card reader driver from your notebook's support page.
That usually bypasses the OS check.
Click on the PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_522A card reader device needing the driver. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the SD card reader driver.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp97022.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
Then restart the PC and test if the SD card reader works again.

You're very welcome.
First install the Intel chipset driver and restart the PC.
This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility. This utility enables the operating system to show the correct name for the installed Intel hardware in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101171.exe
Then install this driver and restart the PC:
This package contains the driver that enables the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware. Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework provide system temperature and power utilization information for the system thermal protection to function properly. This package is provided for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95001-95500/sp95216.exe
This driver will install the PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_522A device:
This package contains the driver that enables the Realtek Card Reader in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The card reader enables users to read from or write to supported removable storage cards, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players, and cellular phones.

Hi Paul_Tikkanen,
Thank you for your support and detailed instructions. Without your guidance, I would certainly not have been able to install the right things.
I have installed the
- Intel Chipset Installation Utility (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101171.exe)
-Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95001-95500/sp95216.exe) without problems. Thank you!
When running the program for the Realtek Card Reader (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp97001-97500/sp97022.exe) I get the error message that "the driver is not supported on this OS version (10.0 .19043).
What I have to do?
Thank you again for your support!
