Would you be able to do a hardware dump and find the id and model number and everything you possibly can about the fingerprint reader?

My Ultra Flip 14's touchpad is not working in Ubuntu, and I've tried prioritizing synaptics driver over libinput, xorg instead of wayland, and a few other things but no luck so far. Still need to try something related to an Intel HID Switch / tablet mode ...? not sure if I'm making any sense at this point!  Help me if you have a solution or idea.
