Product: HP 470 G8 Notebook PC (3S9X7AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

After installing the "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Windows Version2.0.0.0"

(https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp144001-144500/sp144027.exe) i've got always the following error message: "The Windows Event Log Service must be running".

 

The Event Log service is still running and OK.

Try updating version 2.1.0.0 (released yesterday)

old Verison 2.0.0.0 was not working.

 

This worked for me.

Sorry, but your link directs me to an old version from 2017.

And the website user feedback says: "Do not work under Windows 11" and the same error: "The Windows Event Log Service must be run"
