Hi
we need to instal windows 7 on this laptop HP Pavilion15-ab270sa as the programs we use are now not supported in windows 10 compatibility mode
I have managed to get 7x64 install in uefi mode in either mbr or gpt but have no usb or wifi to even attempt to use one of the many driver "installer" programs
Can anyone point me to drivers for this machine for win7 or just ones for wifi, netwrok and if possible or alternatively usb
Thanks

You're very welcome.
If the wifi driver doesn't work that is listed there, please post the hardware ID for the device you see labeled in the device manager as a Network Controller, so I can find the driver you need.

Hi:
You should be able to use all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from the 15-ab100 model series.
Do not use any of the BIOS or firmware files.

I don't see the USB3 driver listed there so use this one...
This package contains the Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

Hi
to update the post for anyone else
I tried only the wireless & network drivers from the suggested link, 2 installed fine the 1 did not, sadly that was the realtek one which is the most important one.
I used the link to the guide posted above to find the correct id and then searched for it, it took a while but eventually got the correct driver
I also used the same process for the usb driver and got that straight away
Having installed these I then connected to the internet and let the self install do its job
Anyone having similar issues, to get around the no usb driver and no internet I installed win10 into a partition and dual booted placed the drivers onto the win 7 desktop via the win10 os
