How do I obtain this specific bin file for 1030ee as I don't have WhatsApp to proceed with downloading the attachment? Thank you for the help!

Unfortunately, we can't help you with a request like that.

All I can do is give you the links to the latest BIOS update HP has for your notebook from the HP ftp site.

All BIOS updates are exe files and need to be run using Windows, unless you know of a way to extract the BIN files from the exe file.

Info:  F.66

Isn't it possible to extract the EXE file to a USB flash drive and then recover from it, in case the laptop does boot and flash the BIOS from the specified EXE file since the BIN file isn't applicable to the particular model? Thank you for the help once again!

Unfortunately, I have no idea what your options are with that BIOS.

I know you can use the free 7-zip file utility and extract the file contents from the exe file.

7-Zip

Of what use that would be that I do not know.

You probably will have to take the PC to a local repair shop and see if they can reflash the BIOS with the file I posted for you.

The problem started with the display turning red orange tint and then it was caused by a faulty NVIDIA graphics card but the laptop was still usable until one day, the laptop suddenly turned off and never came back on. The display only shows a blank screen without the logo when I tried to press the power button. I heard two beeps during the startup. I planned to flash the BIOS to no avail, hoping the laptop will eventually recover. I saw the available BIOS files for the laptop in various websites but they were only available in EXE. I came across that specific BIN file but I don't know how to download it. I also used the HP USB Recovery Tool software in another computer to read the EXE file but it never pushed through. I hope this is only a BIOS corruption and not a hardware failure. Thank you for the prompt assistance.

You're very welcome.

It seems to me that if you want that file on the link you posted, you just have to register with the site and download the file.

The BIOS corruption occurred after the '3' key below the F1-F12 keys stopped responding. I only used the laptop with the charger plugged in since I took out the battery and it adds extra weight to the laptop. The speakers also got distorted while using the laptop. I guess it's better to store the laptop somewhere safe and it might not be the best to do another BIOS recovery procedure as the symptoms of failure just kept on increasing since the laptop was manufactured years ago. Nevertheless, thank you for the advices you've shared and keep up the incredible work in troubleshooting technical problems. Cheers!

Also, the Windows + B or Windows + V key combinations don't work in emergency BIOS update/flashing procedure and I think this is not supported by the laptop whenever the USB flash drive which contains the recovery files is plugged into the computer. I guess the laptop has served me well all these years. Thank you once again.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.

It might be time to consider purchasing a new or gently pre-owned notebook.
