Hello Guys,
I really need your help. I have deassembled the laptop to clean the fan which was fine but when i put it all together and started the laptop, a blank screen is there and the two lights in the keyboard blinks twice every 3 seconds. Googled that and HP forum saidits a BIOS corruption. I followed recovery steps by clicking ctrl + b (or V) with power but didnt work and the recovery screen doesnt work. I am trying to create a USB recovery now.
I followed steps in https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c02693833 and dowloaded correct BIOS (SP52884.exe) i need. Once i run the BIOS file i do get to the screen which asks me to install on my PC but i do not get to step 10 & 11 which give you the option to do a USB recovery. it just install files to computer then run Insydeflash to download the BIOS on the current PC and not the non working one. Any idea guys how to create the USB recovery???
thanks
