Once a week, when I am watching a video on the internet, my computer will freeze and make a beeping sound for 1-3 seconds. Then it will try to reboot stating that the Hard Drive is unable to be found. I press the power button to shut it off and then restart it. Once I restart it, the laptop reboots and states it found the hard drive and I am fine. I can go back to using the computer and watching a video on the internet. I am not sure if this is a hard drive issue or an operating system issue.

Are you using WiFi for the streaming? What browser are you using?
This could all be the result of simply trying to stream videos and that is putting a major stress on the laptop, causing it to crash.
I do streaming with mine, but I have it connected to my media server with wired networking. And, the media server is doing the video transcoding, not the laptop. Even then, with a 4-core processor, the cores generally reach 90% on a regular basis.
If I was connected via WiFi, I would probably be having the same issue as you -- as the additional load of handling the WiFi connection would overpower the laptop.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
