My brother installed Windows7 64-bit on my laptop, and I am having difficulties finding the correct drivers that work with Win7 (because this model laptop only shows up Win8 drivers when I search on your site). Many of the working drivers I have gotten were from the G6 2108-tx model
I have gotten a few drivers up and working already, although I still need:
- Bluetooth Controller
- PCI device
- SM Bus controller
- Universal Serial Bus controller
- Universal Serial Bus controller (Not sure why there is 2 in the list, but there is)
After browsing through some other posts, you have asked people to supply their hardware ID's, mine are:
Bluetooth controller-
PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_3298&SUBSYS_18EC103C&REV_00
PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_3298&SUBSYS_18EC103C
PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_3298&CC_0D1100
PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_3298&CC_0D11

Any help with finding the drivers or the right model to search for, would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Hi:
Download and install both of these drivers for the USB3...
PCI Device:
Here is what you need to do for the smbus controller...
I have zipped up and attached below under Attachments, the raw smbus controller driver files for you to unzip and manually install.
Download and unzip the file.
Go to the device manager and click on the smbus controller needing drivers. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder that you unzipped.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install. Then reboot.

Hey mate, thanks very much for the fast reply.
I tried downloading and installing the drivers from the links you provided, and it seemed to fix the USB drivers for a bit, but a little "installing device driver software" pop-up came up saying that it was trying to install them. It said that it couldn't install them and they went back to being a little yellow exclamation mark in the device manager.
Is there something I am doing wrong?
Also, that last link leads to a 32-bit and 64-bit version of that driver (I use 64-bit, I should have mentioned in my post), but the 64-bit just installs this thing called RAIDXpert.. And when I try to open it, it takes me to a web-page and I have no idea what I am supposed to be doing. Would you mind explaining to me what it does please?
Thank you again for your reply.
