Hello, I've just bought new notebook, HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ak001nc with Windows 10 and I downgraded it to windows 7. So my question is: can I use drivers which are determined for windows 10? And if not, can you please advise me which drivers i can use?
Thank you for any help.

Hi:
Most of the W10 drivers won't work on W7.
You can try the drivers from the model below, except the BIOS and firmware files.

Hi everyone. I'm considering getting one of these as well. Can anyone tell me if a special driver is needed to make the hotkeys (the ones on the function keys) work properly under Windows 7? This is usually a manufacturer-specific driver, and I don't see one on the link given above.
Cheers.

Hi everyone. I just replied twice to the following thread, thinking the post didn't register the first time, but it didn't appear the second time either. Now it seems the thread has disappeared. Can anyone tell me what is going on?
Edit: Never mind - my reply to that thread appeared after a pronounced delay. It seems posts take a while before they appear in the forum.

Hi, @zaxx :
The driver for the hotkeys is called the HP System Event Utility, found under the Solutions driver section.
The description...and driver file...
This package contains the HP System Event Utility, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, HP System Event Utility enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.

Ok, I see it among the other drivers for the Envy. Thanks for that. It occurred to me afterwards, so I'd also like to ask: Is a special ACPI driver also needed for Windows 7? I don't see that among the drivers.
Cheers.
