Despite "Great news—your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11." and numerous download/install cycles I get repeated Windows 11 install failures with (0xc1900101) errors. BIOS and hardware drivers are all latest available from HP. Attempts to install from Windows ISO also fail.
System has plenty of drive space, 16GB RAM and is only a year old.
Has anybody else experienced this? Advice for work arounds or fixes gratefully received. Thanks for your help.

You are not alone. Please try
Cannot install Windows 11 - Error 0xc1900101

Hi, @MelGR1
See if you can upgrade by clicking on the Blue W11 Installation Assistant button at the link below.
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
If that fails, make a bootable USB installation flash drive (2nd option).
After the media is created. open the flash drive from windows explorer and click on the setup application and see if you can upgrade that way.
If that fails, and you really want to upgrade to W11, make a system image with the free macrium reflect software, save the image to a portable hard drive, and make the bootable rescue media you access the portable hard drive with the image stored on it.
That way if the clean install fails too, you can easily go back to your PC's current status.
Macrium Software | Reflect Free Edition
Then use your W11 installation flash drive to clean install W11.
I had to clean install W11 on my HP Envy x360 15-ee047nr, which refused to update to W11 using the first two methods I described, but by clean installing, it worked with no problems.
I just had to install the drivers from the support page and reinstall my programs and files.
