Hi,
I have HP Pavilion Notebook with Windows 8.1 Single Language 64 bit Operating system (Licensed) on my 1 TB HDD. To get good performance, I just bought SSD 240 GB from HP store and added at Optical drive location using Caddy.
Now, the SSD is blank and still in state of unallocated drive, how should I proceed to get OS on SSD instead of HDD.
Please help me step by step to get the same done and is it possible to upgrade Windows 8.1 to latest operating system of Windows 10 or so.
Thanks in advance.

That is not going to work as you wish because it is slower. You can use SSD as boot drive and move 1TB HDD to ODD location for storage.
Regards.
