My laptop was running very slow so I decided to go in and restart it. It is now stuck on the blue screen that says restarting with the dots going on circles. Please help!!!! I have to join a client for virtual court in a couple of hours and the log in information is in my computer!

I went to the power icon on the left bottom corner where you can power off, restart or put computer to sleep. I clicked restart and it got stuck on the blue screen that said restarting with the white dots going on a circle. I ended up holding the power button for 20 seconds and my laptop finally shut off. I was able to power it back on successfully. Thank you though!

Restarting can means lots of different things -- so please tell us specifically what you did to restart the laptop.

Sounds like it was stuck on a Windows Update -- but glad to see it is working, again.
